Samira Musa Pott, BA, LLB, CLE

Samira was born April 29, 1971. Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Florida International University and went on to pursue law at the University of the West Indies. She is a qualified Practicing Attorney-at -Law admitted to the Bar of Belize since 1996. Samira is the owner of the Law Firm, Samira Musa Pott & Co. Her main practice areas include company law, real estate, labour, probate and succession, family and civil matters.
Her hobbies include traveling, reading, exercising and spending quality time with family and friends. She has given service on a several boards and bodies (YMCA, SCA, Elections and Boundaries Commission, National Sports Tribunal, Belize Defense Force, St Vincent De Paul Society). She has had a passion for tennis from a very young age. She started playing tennis at age 7 and it has been a part of her life ever since. She has captured the title of National Female Champion of Belize several years. She has received the outstanding athlete award from Belize Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association for her contribution to sports nationally. She initially served as secretary of the BTA until she was elected to the presidency in February of 2020. She is also an ITF level 1 coach and continues to contribute to the growth of tennis in Belize.
