Edward Nabil (Billy) Musa Sr., M.B.E.
President Emeritus of the Belize Tennis Association
Billy was born January 16, 1938. He is an accomplished and renowned businessman and CEO of one of the biggest retail and wholesale stores in Belize, James Brodie and Co Ltd. Billy is also a successful investor and owner of other businesses around Belize. He has served his country in many capacities and served on many boards (President of Lions Club of which he is still a member, vice chairman of Belize Scouts Foundation, past president of the Belize Chamber of Commerce).
Billy served as President of the Belize Tennis Association for many years. His hobbies include traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends and all sports of which his primary love is Tennis. He has the record of National male tennis champion for 15 years of which 13 were consecutive years. In Belize his name is synonymous with Tennis. He was also awarded by the Belize Olympic And Commonwealth Association for his outstanding performance and contribution to tennis. Billy was made a Member of the British Empire by the Queen of England for his service to his country in the area of commerce and sports. In February 2020 while he did not seek re-election to the post of president, he was voted president emeritus for his many years of dedicating to tennis and serving as President of the Belize Tennis Association.
